Synopsis/Details

The Manía program narrates his journey from the hell of his life in the United Kingdom to the paradise he has found in Spain, through a soundtrack selected with the intention of accompanying, moving, and confronting the viewer. The music becomes an autobiographical story: a bridge between darkness and light, between pain and beauty.

In this show, Rhodes performs works by Chopin, Brahms, and Rachmaninoff, composers who, each in their own way, reflect human fragility and resilience. His pieces are interspersed with live commentary and reflections, narrated in his unmistakable warm, passionate style with a touch of stand-up comedy that has made him a unique communicator.

The result is a recital that goes beyond the musical: a theatrical experience that connects with the audience on a deep emotional level, where vulnerability, humor, and music coexist to create a show unlike any traditional piano concert.
