The Sant Pau Festival invites the Franz Schubert Filharmonia to the Palau de la Música Catalana with a program full of energy and emotion, under the direction of Tomàs Grauand featuring the prestigious pianist Arsenii Moon as soloist. The concert opens with Alexey Shor’s Piano Concerto No. 1, a contemporary work of great expressive power that engages in dialogue with the classical tradition. This is followed by the brilliant Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini by Rachmaninov, offering a display of virtuosity and musical intensity. The evening culminates with Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Suite, a work rich in lyricism and drama that captivates from the very first bar. A unique opportunity to enjoy great symphonic music in one of the world’s most iconic venues.
