The young Finnish conductor Klaus Mäkelä, whose emergence has had a significant impact on stages worldwide, makes his debut in Barcelona with one of the best orchestras in the world, the Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam, of which he will become the principal conductor starting in 2027. The program perfectly aligns with the heroic spirit, which is one of the themes in the current season's narrative at the Palau de la Música: Ein Heldenleben by Strauss, Siegfried Idyll by Wagner, and Subito con forza by the Korean composer Unsuk Chin.
