Two years ago, we proposed a concert in memory of Frank Sinatra at Luz de Gas with crooner Edu Ferrer and the Joan Chamorro Trio. It was a concert, we announced, that had a bonus because the Sant Andreu Jazz Band would join in the final stretch of the evening, which was a success, of course. We are repeating it now, but with the Sant Andreu Jazz Band as the protagonist in their annual date with the Festival, behind the powerful voice of Ferrer, another of the pearls that emerged from the orchestra created by Joan Chamorro. New arrangements (signed by Joan Monné), the added presence of the Èlia Bastida String Quartet, standards that are part of our imaginary—That's All, Come Fly With Me, New York, New York, My Way, and, of course, Fly Me to the Moon—along with an emotional tribute to one of the great singers in history: another unforgettable night at the Palau de la Música Catalana and at the Festival led by the SAJB.
IMPORTANT: Children under 16 years old may only enter the venue accompanied by their father, mother, or legal guardian. It is essential to present the Responsibility Sheet duly printed and completed.
