VenueThe Palau de la Música Catalana
CalendarTue 14 Apr 2026
Synopsis/Details

Charity concert

A very special concert that pays tribute to two great figures in the history of music: the Catalan soprano Conxita Badia and the universal composer Ludwig van Beethoven. Under the direction of Maestro Salvador Brotons, a principal conductor of great prestige and artistic sensitivity, Orquestra Simfònica Sant Cugat, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary, offers a program that highlights our cultural and musical heritage.

The first part of the concert includes a selection of songs composed by Conxita Badia, with arrangements for soprano and orchestra made by Brotons himself, as well as two emblematic works by Eduard Toldrà. We will culminate the performance with the grandiose Symphony No. 9 by Beethoven, with the Ode to Joy, a symbol of fraternity, freedom and collective hope.

A unique event that combines emotion, excellence and cultural commitment. Don't miss the opportunity to be part of it.
